BONUS Story: Dodoria succeeded in killing the Earthlings before Vegeta could side with the latter. Now that he's taking Frieza head-on, the tyrant injures the planet as he tears down the last two that stand in his way. [If you watch, you can see the opponents clothes being destroyed between rounds] ----------------------------- Skip to 5:05 for the TL;DR Version! ------------------------------ This battle tutorial shows you the basic abilities of Lord Frieza from Dragon Ball Xenoverse (who is unlocked after completing the Frieza Saga from the Time Vault). Frieza's consistent super moves are: + X/A = Charging Up [Full Power Charge/Maximum Charge/Darkness Mixer] Ultimate Modifier + X/A = Psychic Move ========================== Frieza is thus far the only member of his race who can shoot multiple, non-paralyzing ki blasts. He also does not get any faster while injured. Frieza has the standard 5-Hit □/x, followed by 3-Hit △/Y combo, for a total of 8-Hits. It may be strange at first that his 8-Hit combo ends in only one pursuit attack, but if you wish to use him regularly, you'll need to adjust. 1:52 Frieza's Pursuit/Dashing combo 0:28 Frieza's 8-Hit combo 1:42 Frieza's combo From what I've heard, 1st Form's 'I will Never Forgive You, Scum!' has been nerfed, so - don't count on using it to spam anymore. Frieza has pop-ups during his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th □/x combo if you press △/Y. *~*~* MOVES 3:00 Deam Beam [All] It's fast, non-telegraphed, and can hit up to three times. It does decent damage and is fired with the lead hand. The controls for it change for the two 100% forms. 3:24 Death Ball [Final, 100%, Villainous] is a large, fast purple ball with excellent tracking. It is faster than Kid Buu's spam-friendly Super Vanishing Ball, but doesn't stop people from getting in your face. It everything an Ultimate attack *should be. It is unlocked via RNG under Parallel Quest #22. 1:06 Supernova [1st] is a large Ultimate that Frieza and Cooler have made famous. It's nowhere near as useful as Death Ball, but it's your standard fare ultimate. It looks cool to throw, and even better to land. Custom characters get this move by training under Frieza. They throw it like he does, and not like the Ultimate Tenkaichi hero. 3:50 Darkness Mixer [Villainous] is a charging move that's so-far impervious to standard melee. I am curious to see if Super Dragon Fist or Deadly Dance can cut through it, as even Goku's escape maneuver took its time to get through it. 4:24 Baked Sphere [Villainous] is a super explosive wave-style Ultimate that hits twice. It's a bit sneaky (aside from the Super portrait), but rewards you with high damage if you land it. 4:16 - Bloody Sauce [Villainous] causes your enemy to appear poisoned and causes the status ailment 'Slowed'. Only items or a Z-Soul can remove this effect [to which many people don't carry Cure Alls]. I think it only effects their movement speed. It can also be charged to shoot multiple projectiles, though they spread out and become easier to avoid. 2:44 Death Slicer [100%] is a Destructo-disc that changes its straight path only once, if you input the command one more time mid-flight. The damage is petty but, at least the idea's cool. 0:42 Emperor's Sign [1st] According to the STEAM community, it is supposed to: Raise the ki generation in Humans, begin regeneration in Namekians, raise the stamina generation in the Majin, raise the blast attacks of Saiyans, and increase the striking power of Frieza's race. However, I have not found a consensus. Please consult Google for more answers. The moves below, I have little positive to say. 1:02 Death Slash [1st, Final] is a slow starting energy attack with horrible reach and low power, but solid knockback. The computer is great at blocking it however. It will always be in the △/Y slot. 2:33→ Death Chaser [100%] This move is straight awful. It doesn't guardcrush, it doesn't provide superarmor, and it has lower priority than a ki blast. Anything else I could say, would make me have to change the rating on my video; it's that awful. 2:05 Death Psycho Bomb [Final] Despite how much I love this move due to the trauma it caused Goku (and needless to say, Krillin's) life, this move is nearly useless. It takes 1.7 seconds before the attack commences, has the same atrocious range of Death Slash, and has no tracking whatsoever. To top it off, it provides no super-armor and can be charged. The only benefit it has is great damage and it does non-cinematic straight damage to opponents locked in an animation (such as Final Flash). You'll get outpunched by Videl (and nearly to death) if this is the only attack that you use. It's *that bad. The amount of time that the annotation 'Death Psycho Bomb' is up, is to show you how long both you and your opponent need to be standing stationary.
