FIFA 21 AI defending is bad, real bad. So bad it is basically ruining career mode. There are fundamental defending mistakes at play that should not happen at any level of organized soccer/football. Simply put, defenders fail to step up and midfielders fail to track back with alarming regularity. Hopefully, this video does a good job of capturing this.
