Cleveland weather forecast for Tuesday, January 7, 2025. We'll catch a bit of a break today as lingering lake effect snow showers fade and give way to a mix of clouds and some sun. Temps will still be cold as they struggle to reach the mid 20s this afternoon. Lake effect snow showers will remain scattered overnight into much of the day Wednesday. Outside of the lake effect snow, we'll have mostly cloudy skies with cold conditions. Upper 10s tonight with only low 20s for highs on Wednesday. In terms of accumulations, we're not expecting huge totals, but a few additional inches of snow are possible where the lake snow persists the next two days. Thursday into early Friday looks quiet with sunshine giving way to increasing clouds. Our next storm system will slide our way Friday, bringing area-wide snow showers. This system will be a much bigger deal for areas down toward Texas and the southern Plains where a half a foot of snow or more is possible! More cold air and on-and-off lake effect snow chances exist in the extended with no end to these below average temperatures in sight! Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Lingering lake snow early, then a mix of clouds and sun. Lake snow returns late. Mid 20s. WEDNESDAY: Mainly cloudy with scattered lake effect snow. Colder with highs in the low 20s. THURSDAY: Sun with a few clouds. Flurries possible in spots. Cold with highs in the low 20s again.
