thedarkemissary asked me yesterday if the tool I was using was a homemade brass pyro poke, it wasn't. I had been using a old nail punch I made a foam and duct tape handle for. I looked into brass awls in the past and they cost $20, so I said nah. Didn't even consider making my own until last night when he asked if it was a homemade one. Well a trip to lowes later, and here we are, making my own non sparking pyro poke. Total cost for supplies was $6.84, and that is enough materials to make like 5 of them! This is 1/8th inch rod, which will work for 3mm fuse, but it is a tight fit.
