Frieda Vizel is in the unique position of having left the extremely devout Hasidic Jewish community - often considered America's most religious community - while still remaining in touch with it through her work as a Brooklyn tour guide of the area in New York. I am a London Jew, and have done episodes with defectors who spoke entirely negatively about the sect, so this was a chance to hear a different perspective, and I found it absolutely fascinating speaking with Frieda. She has made videos about everything from the Hasidic marriage customs to a black Hasidic or Haredi Jewish woman called Sara Braun.
