Last year during a business trip in Japan, I picked up a bad conditioned Olympus AFL-S camera with 38mm 2.8 for 100 yen (US$0.72). Determined, I wanted to give this old lens a new life and to improve on my previous 3D printed lens. The mechanical design of this consumer camera from 1984 is just impressive. If you can tell from the video, I spent some time admiring it before continue. 00:00 intro 00:12 disassembly 00:55 assembly 02:14 sample shots Most sample pictures were taken in Singapore and China during my other business trip.
