Incredible, extraordinary and rarest folk artist Anjinappa from Chikkaballapura, Karnataka is known to be the only and last artist to perform with the music instrument called Mukhaveene (a flute kind of instrument) I recently had an opportunity to meet the great artist in his village and witness his performance. Anjinappa is well known for the rare talent of playing multiple instruments at the same time which are composed by his own. He also plays instruments through the nostrils. Another mesmerizing element is he playing music while water is poured into pipes through one nose to another.
