#SalemEssenceKuruma #Gravy #tindifoodie Ingredients : To Grind : Pepper - 4 tsp Fennel Seeds/Sombu - 1/2 tsp KasaKasa - 1/2 tsp Cinnamon - 2 pieces Cloves - 4 pieces Marati Bud - 2 pieces Star Anaz - 2 pieces Garlic - 6 cloves Coconut - 6 tbs Roasted gram/Chutney Dal - 3 tbs Add little water and grind it to a chutney consistency. Ingredients for frying : Big Sized Onion - 1 Tomato - 1 Mint - few Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Chilli powder - 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp Salt,Oil. Steps : Add 7-8 tbsps of oil in a hot iron kadai, add , onion , tomato & mint and fry in high flame for 5 mins. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 mins . Add turmeric powder , chilly powder as per taste and fry for few more minutes.Oil should get separated on top. Filter out oil from the fried mixture. Add 1/2 cup of water , add the ground spice mixture , salt & chilly powder and boil and take out at a flowing gravy consistency to dip & eat. Essence Gravy is ready after we get a thick consistency after boiling it for 10 mins in high flame. Try and enjoy this recipe with oothappam , EggDosa/ Parota /Egg Parota.
