United employee's leg run over by wheeled jet bridge at airport

A filmer captured a United Airlines employee's leg being rolled over by wheeled jet bridge at Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey from a CCTV screen.

The filmer said the incident took place on February 27.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey told Newsflare in an email that a 34-year-old United Airlines employee “sustained a lower leg injury when the wheel of a jet bridge rolled over his leg.”

The Port Authority also said that the injury was not life-threatening and that the man was transported to the hospital. The accident is under investigation.
