Although Jamaica was hit by more of a glancing blow than a direct hit by Hurricane Beryl, much of the Caribbean island was left without power. Despite escaping the very worst of the hurricane, the cost of repairing and rebuilding affected communities will be significant, but people on the island aren't hopeful about getting help from the government.
